MMA fighter dies three days after fight

Uzbekistan mixed-style fighter (MMA) Bekzod Nurmatov has died at the age of 28. This is reported by TOP-NEWS
According to sports.uz, the athlete died of a stroke. Three days earlier, he had a fight against Russian Beslan Isaev at the Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA) 100 tournament in Grozny. Nurmatov lost by split decision.

The Uzbek fighter began his career in December 2016. He has one win and four mixed martial arts defeats. The athlete was also a world champion and the winner of the World Cup in hand-to-hand combat.

On July 23, Russian boxer Maxim Dadashev died in a hospital in the United States. After the fight against Puerto Rican Sarichel Mathias, he was diagnosed with brain swelling. The athlete underwent surgery, he was put into an artificial coma. Later it turned out that Dadashev suffered a stroke during the fight with Mathias.
