A man licking a handrail in a metro station “infected with a coronavirus” was detained

In the German city of Munich, the federal state of Bavaria, a 33-year-old man who licked handrails on the subway was detained. It is reported by Deutsche Welle.

Journalists of the publication, citing the city police, report that the attacker licked vending machines, handrails and railings of the escalator. He shot what was happening on video and posted the video on social networks. The attacker claims to be infected with a coronavirus infection, but law enforcement agencies have no confirmation of this.

An investigation is currently underway to find out if the man is really infected with the coronavirus. He is detained on suspicion of the intentional spread of coronavirus infection.
