Alexey Navalny has never considered other options than working in Russia, his spokesperson said.
Russian opposition activist Alexey Navalny, who is undergoing treatment in Germany, plans to return to Russia. This was announced on Tuesday, September 15, by Navalny’s spokesperson Kira Yarmysh on Twitter.
“Journalists have been writing to me all morning asking if it is true that Alexey plans to return to Russia. I understand the reason for the question, but nevertheless, it is strange to me that someone might think otherwise. Once again I confirm to everyone: no other options have ever been considered,” Yarmysh wrote.
At the same time, she did not specify when exactly the return was planned.
Earlier NYT reported with reference to sources in the German security service that Navalny intends to return to Russia after the amendment.
And today the first photo of Navalny from the hospital appeared. In the social network, the Russian oppositionist told about his well-being.
