American mixed martial artist (MMA) Ben Askren filmed a comic video with training before the fight with YouTube blogger Jake Paul

American mixed style fighter (MMA) Ben Askren filmed a comic video with a training session before a fight with YouTube blogger Jake Paul on the rules of boxing. The video is available on the athlete’s Twitter account.

Askren repeated the training cut from the 1985 movie “Rocky 4”. Thus, the American parodied the preparation of Sylvester Stallone’s hero. At the end of the video, Askren “conquered the summit” and shouted the name of his opponent. In the original film, Rocky Balboa climbs to the top of a mountain and shouts the name of the antagonist Ivan Drago. Askren’s video scored over two million views.

Askren will fight Paul at the Thriller event on April 17th. The American has never played by the rules of boxing before. Askren showed himself brightest in MMA, winning championship belts in Bellator and One Championship. For a long time, he was considered the strongest welterweight outside the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). After joining the promotion, Askren had three fights (one win and two losses) and ended his career.
