Jolie is selling Pitt’s gifts
Angelina Jolie has decided to start getting rid of Brad Pitt’s gifts, one of which is estimated at several million dollars.
We are talking about a painting by Winston Churchill, which captures a landscape of Morocco, reports Page Six. Pitt bought the work of former British Prime Minister in 2011 for nearly $ 3 million. After the shooting in the movie “Inglourious Basterds,” the actor carried away by military history: he was interested in the events of World War II, including the collection of objects of those times. Churchill painted the picture in 1943 in Morocco, where he was negotiating with Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Pitt’s fascination with history passed on to Jolie, so after buying the painting, they took a trip to London for a tour of the Churchill War Rooms bunker museum.
Apparently, because of the protracted divorce, Angelina got tired of looking at her ex-husband’s gift and decided to get rid of it. Insiders noted that during a pandemic, a few million dollars won’t be too much for Jolie. Jolie and Pitt can’t agree on child custody, which is why their divorce has been going on for almost 5 years – twice as long as the couple was formally married. Angelina wants Brad to have as little contact with her heirs as possible, while the actor insists on equal participation of both parents in their lives.
