Terrorists still occupy some territories in Syria and plan to continue the war, the president said.
The war in Syria is not over as long as some territories are occupied by terrorists. President Bashar al-Assad said this in an interview.
“The war is not over as long as terrorists occupy some parts of our country and commit various crimes and murders. And I think their leaders intend to make it last for a long time to come,” Assad said.
The armed conflict in Syria has continued since 2011. During that time, about 400,000 people died, almost 7 million left the country and some of them have already returned.
