A video has emerged online of a downed helicopter crash in Idlib province, where Assad’s forces are fighting rebels.
In Syria’s Idlib, near the city of Nairob, a Mi-17 helicopter from Bashar al-Assad’s forces was shot down. The video of the crashed helicopter was posted on Twitter by military analyst Babak Tagway.
The helicopter crashed in the militant-controlled territory, the publication said.
An hour ago, this Mi-17 utility helicopter of #Syria Arab Air Force was shot-down over Al-Nayrab, #Idlib. #AlQaeda affiliated & #Turkish backed militias are trying to take responsibility, but it is certainly known that #Turkey targeted this helicopter. pic.twitter.com/ZRzx9ShrlV
