AT THE MEETING OF CHIEFS OF GENERAL STAFFS OF NATO COUNTRIES ON MAY 22, WILL DISCUSS UKRAINE

22 May in Brussels will host a meeting of chiefs of General staffs of NATO countries. It should participate genshtaba the Ukrainian chief Viktor Muzhenko. The military is going to discuss the situation in Ukraine and future cooperation with Kiev.

The negotiations will be led by the head of the Alliance Military Committee, Sir Stuart Peach.

In addition, one of the topics will be NATO’s doctrine of deterrence and defense, as well as to ensure that the Supreme Commander of the allied forces in Europe, Todd Walters, is in the area of his responsibility.

“The session concerning Ukraine will allow the chiefs of the General staff to get updated information about the current security situation, the latest events and discuss the future cooperation,” the report said about the part of the meeting in which Kiev will take part.
