US presidential candidate and former vice president Joe Biden condemned incumbent White House head Donald Trump for threatening to send the National Guard to Minneapolis to disperse protesters. The politician made a corresponding statement on his Twitter page.

In his opinion, the American leader calls for violence against US citizens.

The former US vice president added that he was “furious” after Trump threatened the National Guard with fighters if the mayor did not take any action to take control of the situation.

“The black reporter was detained while doing his job this morning, while the white policeman who killed George Floyd remains at large,” Biden said.

Earlier it became known that in the state of Minnesota, riots began due to the murder by a police officer of a black man George Floyd in Minneapolis.
