Biden called on protesters in US cities not to resort to violence

The most likely US Democratic candidate in the upcoming election, former vice president Joe Biden, explained the protests that erupted in the United States over the death of black Minneapolis resident George Floyd after a gross arrest. This is stated in a statement by Biden on the Medium platform, published on Sunday, May 31.

“To object to such cruelty is right and necessary. This is a purely American response, ”Biden wrote. At the same time, he condemned the cruelty shown by the demonstrators. According to him, an act of protest should never overshadow its cause.

Dozens of US cities are protesting, with riots, vandalism, and police attacks. It all started after the death of a blackguard, George Floyd, who died after a gross arrest in Minneapolis (Minnesota). Speeches against police brutality are held in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, New York, Indianapolis, Boston, Detroit, in many other cities in the United States and even in Canadian Toronto.

US authorities have stated that any clashes with the police or threats to law enforcement agencies are regarded as acts of internal terrorism. During such clashes in Auckland, two policemen were gunshot wounds, one of whom died. Also in the city of Indianapolis (Indiana), a protester died.
