The U.S. will “make Russia pay” for its actions, U.S. President Joe Biden said.
“I have made it clear to President (Vladimir) Putin of Russia, unlike my predecessor, that the days of the U.S. giving up in the face of Russia’s aggressive actions – interfering in our elections, cyber-attacks, poisoning its citizens – are over. We will not hesitate to make Russia pay and defend the vital interests of our people. We will also be more effective on Russia when we work in coalition with like-minded partners,” Biden said in a foreign policy keynote speech at the State Department.
Russia has in the past denied all of Biden’s accusations.
