Biden to hold first full cabinet meeting

US President Joe Biden on Thursday, April 1, will hold the first meeting since the start of the presidential term, in which the full composition of his cabinet will participate. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Press Secretary of the White House Karin Jean-Pierre.

“Tomorrow the president will have his first meeting with the full cabinet,” said Karin Jean-Pierre.

She also said that the main topic of discussion during the meeting will be the implementation of the plan to support the American economy in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was previously proposed by the head of the White House.

On November 3, presidential elections were held in the United States. The main contenders for the presidency were Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump. By the results of a popular vote and an electoral vote, Biden won, but Trump did not recognize the election results and challenged them in courts.

On January 20, 2021, Joe Biden was inaugurated as President of the United States.
