The U.S. could be close to normal living conditions before the pandemic by the end of this year, but things could change. U.S. President Joseph Biden stated this
“I believe that by the end of this year we will be closer to normalcy, and with God’s help this Christmas, December 25, will not be like last year. But I cannot make that commitment. There are different strains of the virus. We don’t know what can happen in terms of production rates. Things could change,” the head of state noted.
“I can’t give you a date when this crisis will end, but I can tell you that we’re doing everything we can to make sure that day comes as soon as possible. We will get through this,” the White House master added.
“We cannot get our economy back to normal and put millions of people back to work until we defeat this virus,” Biden stressed.
The Washington chief of staff also expressed confidence that his plan to vaccinate 100 million Americans in the first 100 days of his presidency would be exceeded.
