The meeting will be held in Alaska before which the US Secretary of State will visit Tokyo and Seoul
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan will meet in Anchorage, Alaska on March 18 with two of China’s top foreign policy advisers, Yang Jiechi and Wang Yi, the State Department said.
Before that, Blinken will meet with representatives of the two closest US allies in Asia in Tokyo and Seoul, State Department spokesman Ned Price said.
“Secretary Blinken and National Security Adviser Sullivan will discuss a number of issues with the PRC,” Price said without going into details.
Blinken will return to Washington on March 19, the report said.
