The blogger posted a video in which a man and a woman were competing to see who would last longer without air. Police deemed the video dangerous and charged the Italian woman with inciting suicide. An investigation revealed that the woman had posted other videos of dangerous contests. On her page was signed by more than 730 thousand people.
Earlier it was reported that in Italy, a 10-year-old girl took part in a TikTok-challenge called blackout and died. In this regard, the country’s authorities blocked the accounts of all users of the social network, whose age could not be documented.
TikTok said that the company could not find any content that could encourage the girl to participate in this challenge. Nevertheless, the social network expressed its willingness to assist the authorities in investigating possible incitement to suicide.
