Bolton refuses to attend Trump impeachment hearing

Bolton’s lawyer said his client would not appear voluntarily at a congressional hearing.

Former Us President national security adviser John Bolton has decided to ignore the call of Democrats in the House of Representatives to the impeachment hearings of Donald Trump. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal lawyer of the ex-official Charles Cooper.

He said Bolton is not willing to accept the challenge of Democratic congressmen. At the same time, he noted that he can accept on behalf of his client the agenda of lawmakers from the Democratic Party of the country.

Earlier it was reported that Bolton, as well as two employees of the National Security Council at the White House, were summoned to the hearing on Capitol Hill.

Bolton is scheduled to address a U.S. congressional hearing on November 7, and National Security Council advisers John Eisenberg and Michael Ellis on November 4.
