The head of European diplomacy said he was watching with concern Russia’s military activity around Ukraine
The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has assured the Ukrainian government of the EU’s “unwavering support” in the conflict with the Russian-backed separatists in the east of the country.
Borrell tweeted that he had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, adding that he “is following Russian military activity around Ukraine with great concern.”
He noted that this issue will be discussed at the next meeting of the EU foreign ministers.
