According to the Prime Minister of Britain, the case with the return of Russia to the G7 has yet to be settled

The British authorities oppose the return of Russia to the G7 format, however, they leave behind any country hosting the summit a decision on who will be on the list of invitees, Reuters reports a statement by the representative of the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that he intends to postpone the G7 summit until September and invite four countries to it – Russia, India, South Korea and Australia. Later, the White House director of strategic communications, Alyssa Farah, said the summit of the expanded group of countries would discuss the “future of China.”
