Brutal blow to field camp: sightseeing attacks from Baku may change the course of war in Karabakh

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has published new videos of airstrikes by its drones on the accumulation of manpower, equipment, and positions of the Armenian army in Nagorno-Karabakh.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani military actively uses various drones. One of the know-hows was the large-scale use of Soviet An-2 planes to open up positions of the Armenian air defense system. The Armenian SAMs are then hit by IAI Harop’s Israeli kamikaze UAVs, which are actually homing projective planes with a range of up to 1,000 kilometers.

When the terrain is cleared of Armenian air defense means, the Azerbaijanis begin to systematically destroy enemy units from the air. Apart from the above-mentioned disposable IAI Harops, other means of destruction are also used. For example, Turkish drones Bayraktar TB2, with carrying capacity up to 55 kg. They are equipped with Turkish air-to-surface guided missiles MAM-L and MAM-C weighing 22.5 kg.

The presented video shows how the Armenian military strikes the field camp, various armored vehicles, and vehicles, as well as combat positions. By the way, the attack on the field camp can hardly be called cruel. Those are not offensive units or a convoy of troops on the front line.

The massive use of UAVs and targeted attacks from the air can change the course of the war for that region in favor of Baku because experience in Syria and Libya has shown that it is quite difficult to defend against such attacks. Moreover, Azerbaijan has long been seriously introducing drones into its armed forces. It is well known in Yerevan and Stepanakert, but the Armenians have no means to counteract UAVs. Now they are literally being shot as if at a shooting range.
