China has recognized the United States as a major threat to international order

China recognized that the U.S. is the main threat to the international order. This was stated by a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense Wu Qian, commenting on the Pentagon’s report to Congress on the military developments and objectives of China. The words of the diplomat quote Anadolu agency on Sunday, September 13.

“Long-term experience shows that the U.S. is the instigator of regional unrest, a violator of international order and destroyer of world peace,” Qian said. He reminded that over the past 20 years, the U.S. actions in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and other countries have resulted in the death of almost one million people.

Qian, in turn, called the Pentagon’s report a “senseless distortion” of China’s goals.

The authors of the document noted China’s superiority in three military areas. The report notes that China has overtaken the USA in the field of land-based cruise and ballistic missiles. China possesses more than 1250 missiles of such type with the range of 500-5.5 thousand kilometers. At the same time, the U.S. has only ground-based missiles with a range of 70 to 300 kilometers, as previously they could not create such weapons because of restrictions under the Treaty on the Prohibition of Medium and Short Range Missiles (DRSMD).
