Chinese media report massive cure for virus


At least 36 people have already been discharged from hospitals, media reported. No new deaths were reported for more than half a day.
Hospitals in China have begun prescribing cured of the new coronavirus, China Daily reported on Friday, January 24, citing data from the National Health Commission.
Thirty-six patients with pneumonia infected with the new coronavirus were treated and discharged from the hospital,” the statement said.

It is specified that the first in Shanghai managed to cure a 56-year-old woman who lived for some time in Wuhan, where an outbreak of coronavirus was recorded.

The woman was treated in the city hospital, where his well-being gradually improved. The patient has not had any symptoms in the last six days. She was tested twice for the virus before being discharged.
At the same time, Bloomberg reports that several people who died from the virus had no symptoms of fever, which could potentially complicate global efforts to identify infected people at airports and tourist centers.

Of the 24 people who died in Hubei, seven were said to have no symptoms of fever.

According to the Hubei Provincial Health Commission, the total number of cases has reached 549. Thirty-one people have been cured, but many are in hospital in serious condition.

The publication published data on 24 deaths as a result of infection with the virus. According to the data, the virus is mainly exposed to people over the age of 60. Only three of the 24 deaths were younger:

36 years old – a man – fever, weakness – sought help on January 9 – died on January 23;
The 48-year-old woman – a woman – a fever, cough, shortness of breath – sought help on 27 December and died on 20 January;
53 years old – a man – fever, cough, chest pain – sought help in early January – died on 21 January;
According to the latest data, 26 people have died from the virus, more than 900 are infected.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported the verification of three cases with suspected coronavirus disease. Two cases are said to have been unconfirmed and the third is still under investigation.
