In China, the total number of cases of pneumonia caused by a new type of coronavirus exceeded 4,500, of whom 106 died. This was reported on January 28 by the South China Morning Post, citing data from the National Health Commission of China.
Of the 106 deaths, 100 are in Hubei province, which is the epicenter of the outbreak.
Mainland China recorded 4,494 cases, Hong Kong eight, Macau seven and Taiwan five.
In other Asian countries, 30 people are infected with coronavirus, in Europe four, in North America six and in Australia five.
