British horror movie star Barbara Shelley died after contracting the coronavirus. The star was 88 years old, as reported by the Daily Mail.
It is specified that although Shelley had already had the coronavirus. Thus, COVID-19 is not a direct cause of her death.
Shelley is remembered for her roles in such films as “Rasputin: The Mad Monk”, “Village of the Damned”, “Catwoman”, “Gorgon”, “Dracula: Prince of Darkness”. She is also remembered for her appearances in the TV series “Doctor Who” and “The Avengers”.
