Crimea criticized Kiev's policy towards the peninsula.

Co-Chairman of the Assembly of Slavic peoples of the Crimean region Roman Chegrynets called Ukraine’s policy towards the Crimeans genocide.
Chegrynets participates in the UN European Regional Forum to counteract incitement of hatred in social networks and to minorities, which is held in Geneva.
“Unfortunately, for a long time and systematically against the Crimeans, the Ukrainian government has been conducting the anti-humanitarian genocide policy particularly hard, which tries to deprive us of all human rights because of our choice in 2014”, – said Chegrynets during his speech.

According to him, the energy, trade, water, food blockade of Crimea is a direct violation of Ukraine’s human rights obligations enshrined in international documents.
“The water blockade is especially important now. The human right to water is an obligatory condition for implementation of requirements, aimed at observance of human dignity, which is also inseparably connected with the right to life, hygiene, and food”, – stressed Cegrynets. All blockades on the peninsula violate a number of international covenants and conventions, he added.
