In Minneapolis, where riots broke out due to the death of African American George Floyd, a curfew was announced.
As follows from the order of Mayor Jacob Frey, he will be valid from 20:00 Friday local time until 6:00 Saturday and at the same hours on Sunday night.
In this case, an exception is made for law enforcement agencies, the National Guard and operational services, journalists, as well as for the homeless.
Note that curfew violators will face a fine of up to $ 1,000 or imprisonment for up to 90 days.

On the 20th of May, a video appeared on the Web, showing how a black resident of Minneapolis George Floyd was detained by police. A man lies on the ground while handcuffed. At the same time, one of the policemen holding him presses Floyd’s neck with his knee. He repeats several times that he can not breathe, and then falls silent.
The police noted that Floyd was found while driving while intoxicated. When detained, he resisted.
