The security of social networks and services does not stand up to any criticism. The user data is on the web over and over again. Sometimes it seems that you can only protect yourself from the theft of your own data by deciding not to use social networks at all. According to SecurityLab, a major new scandal is brewing, affecting at least 238 million users of services such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

In the dark Internet “walks” base, where you can find not only the logins and names of users of these networks, but also information about contacts, images, and videos, information about the number of subscribers and other information, the use of which can cause some harm. However, it does not contain information about payment cards or account passwords.

It is assumed that deep social should be responsible for this leak. The company has previously been blocked by Facebook and Instagram. The reason for the blocking was mass cases of theft of content from the accounts of their participants. Despite the fact that the company no longer exists, its data will now be distributed on the Internet.

Experts and lawyers have given a legal assessment of the leak. Oddly enough, on the part of the law, the distributors of the base have nothing to show, in their opinion. The position is based on the fact that the base is collected from information that was used openly indicated about itself.
