Eagles revenge: Ferguson to pay knee for tiramisu joke

UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has decided to top one his future opponent, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Thus, the American athlete nicknamed “El Kukuy” posted a photo with a tiramisu on his Instagram account. Ferguson clearly hinted at the story when the Russian was hospitalized due to weight gain and withdrew from the fight. And before that, Habib allegedly allowed himself to eat tiramisu.

Nurmagomedov hardly appreciated his opponent’s joke, especially in his signature post-Tony compared to the current UFC lightweight champion with one popular pop musician. But “Eagle” definitely has a way to carry out revenge for this joke, but already in the Octagon. And it’s possible that Ferguson will pay his knee for bad humor. In 2018, Tony just tripped over a television cable after an interview and tore the cruciate ligament in his knee. And it happened a week before the fight with Habib. But in order to remember this ridiculous history for the American, the Russian does not need to come to the fight with a cable in his hands. That would be Tony-style.

Nurmagomedov is enough in the Octagon to try on the strength of the healed knee of the opponent. After receiving a couple of weighty blows, the 35-year-old U.S. representative will immediately remember why he missed the fight with the Eagles in April 2018. Moreover, in the future, Tony will definitely lose the desire to joke about tiramisu.

But, of course, Habib himself is free to choose how to disable his opponent. In any case, “El Kukuy” is unlikely to take out the fight against the Russian in the stalls.
