An explosion has occurred at a gas pipeline near the village of Kalaydintsy in the Poltava region of Ukraine, the press service of the Lubnygas company said on Saturday.
“We received operational information that there was an explosion at the main gas pipeline serviced by the Operator of the Gas Transmission System of Ukraine (Ukrtransgas – ed.) at a section near the village of Kalaidintsy. Possible emergency shutdown of gas”, – stated in a message on Facebook of the company.
It is noted that according to preliminary information the incident occurred at the gas distribution station. The company put all its emergency services on duty.
