The new car corporation is the fourth largest in the world in terms of assets
Italian-American company Fiat Chrysler and French PSA have completed the process of merging: they created the company Stellantis, the fourth largest carmaker in the world by asset size.
The process of making the deal, worth 52 billion dollars, took more than a year. The united companies annually sell about 8.1 million cars of such brands as Fiat, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Vauxhall, and others.
At the head of Stellantis will be Carlos Tavares, the current head of PSA.
