In France, unknown activists declared war on modern technology, in which they conducted their first operation.
According to the publication Le Figaro, they declared 5G technology to be their main enemy at the modern stage. The attack was carried out in the city of Limoges.
An unidentified group of people carried out the arson of a 23-meter tower, which, in their opinion, supported the work of the format 5G. Despite the fact that several fire brigades extinguished the burning tower, all the equipment was destroyed.
As a result, 1.5 million residents of Limoges were not only left without cellular service, which was provided by TDF and Orange, but also without radio and television.
Shortly thereafter, a local publication received an email from extremists calling themselves the “Committee to Abolish 5G.
The authors said they saw the technology as a threat and would fight it “by any means necessary.” They called the tower’s destruction an operation “for the noise of the wind and the singing of the birds.”
However, as it turned out, if the arsonists are really at war with 5G, then their action in Limoges was completely useless. The fact is that, according to the local prosecutor’s office, the affected tower is not actually designed for 5G communication.
A criminal case was opened on the fact under the article “causing material damage in a dangerous way”. The operators TDF and Orange are preparing a lawsuit.
Recall that similar cases have already been recorded in the UK. According to the arsonists, the new format of mobile communication caused a coronavirus pandemic.
