“Derek Chauvin, a former Minneapolis policeman who is accused of the death of George Floyd, has been announced on suspicion of tax evasion,” the report said.

According to prosecutors, the suspicion of tax evasion was also announced to his wife, Kelly Chauvin, who has already filed for divorce.

Law enforcement officials accuse the couple of, in particular, not submitting their tax returns for 2016 2017 and 2018. Also, some funds that the couple received in recent years were not listed as income. Derek and his wife have a total tax debt of $ 37,868.
