From 22:00 all institutions and establishments in big cities will be closed except hospitals and pharmacies, as well as strategic enterprises.
From November 9, the Georgian authorities will introduce curfews in large cities due to an increase in coronavirus morbidity. This was announced by the Georgian online publication Saturday, November 7, with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Maya Tskitishvili.
According to her, the curfew is introduced from 22:00 to 05:00 in Tbilisi, Batumi, Gori, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Poti, and Rustavi.
From 22:00 all institutions and establishments in the mentioned cities will be closed, except hospitals and pharmacies, as well as strategic enterprises.
Restrictions also do not apply to international transportation and the movement of media representatives.
As previously reported, the Georgian government obliged citizens to wear protective masks not only indoors but also on the street. Violators of the mask regime will be fined 20 GEL ($6). In addition, the work of restaurants throughout the country is restricted.
