Georgia signs agreement with Israel on employment of its citizens

The Georgian government and the State of Israel have signed an agreement on temporary employment for Georgian citizens in Israel, Georgian Ambassador to Israel Lasha Zhvania told Facebook.

“Today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Mr. Gabi Ashkenazi and I signed an important agreement between the governments of Georgia and Israel on temporary employment of Georgian citizens in specific sectors of the labor market in the State of Israel! The agreement is important from the point of view of the professional development of Georgian citizens. Citizens of Georgia will no longer need to look for illegal ways to get work in Israel,” the diplomat said.
According to Zhvania, Georgian citizens will no longer have to pay large sums of money for legal employment; the Georgian Ministry of Health and Social Affairs will take care of that.
