U.S. President Donald Trump believes that his Opponents from the Democratic Party are ready to impeach him for anything and can try to do it again, RIA Novosti reports. “If they find out I’m crossing the street and maybe they did it on a red one or something, then, “Let’s impeach him.” So maybe we’ll have to do it again because these people are completely crazy. But I have defeated them all my life and I will do it again if necessary,” the American leader said in an address marking the end of his impeachment.
The U.S. Senate on Wednesday, February 5, acquitted Trump on both counts of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Thus, the process of impeachment of the head of the White House ended inconclusively. Last December, the House of Representatives impeached Trump by a vote of only Democratic lawmakers. Opponents of the U.S. president say Trump pressured the Ukrainian authorities to get an investigation into his political rival Joe Biden and his family and then interfered with the congressional investigation. Donald Trump himself vehemently denies the allegations. Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that Senator Alexey Pushkov appreciated the American leader’s acquittal on impeachment.
