The second vaccination against Covid-19 improves the body’s immune protection against the virus six times or more. This was announced today, on September 15, by Alexander Ginsburg, Director of the N.F. Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Russian Ministry of Health on the air of the program “Dock-to” on the First channel.
“With the second vaccination we have the immune system … all our energy, all our abilities are directed to further strengthen antibody formation and, most importantly, to form memory cells,” he said. – This allows us to create a very strong, long-lasting immunity to the right coronavirus protein, i.e. the coronavirus protein, thus increasing the immune response, the immune protection of the vaccinated person by four, five, six, or more times.
As reported by TP, August 11, Russia was the first in the world to register the vaccine against coronavirus, called “Sputnik V”. The drug was developed by the National Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N.F. Gamaleya of the Russian Ministry of Health and passed clinical trials in June – July.
