A resident of the Canadian city of Yellowknife claims that her granddaughter helped her to win 55 million Canadian dollars (2.8 billion rubles) in the lottery.
It is reported by CTV News.
Laura Tutcho participated in the Lotto Max draw on May 1. She bought a lottery ticket but forgot to check the results of the game until she talked with her granddaughter.
“My granddaughter told me that someone from Yellowknife hit the jackpot,” recalls the Canadian. “Then I surfed the Internet and watched a winning combination.”
Tutcho was shocked when she found out that her lottery ticket with numbers 3-12-25-36-37-42-49 brought her the main prize.
“I cried out:“ My God! ” My grandchildren immediately ran up to me, and my granddaughter asked: “Grandmother, are you all right?” ”Says the winner.
Canada has repeatedly checked the results of the game, not believing its luck.
“I did not stop looking at my ticket, then at the winning combination,” she said. “My granddaughter even told me:“ Bah, the numbers haven’t changed! ””
Tutcho plans to spend a cash prize to help his family.
Earlier it was reported that a supermarket employee from Canada bought a lottery ticket at the grocery store where he worked and hit the biggest jackpot in Quebec history. He won 70 million Canadian dollars (almost 3.6 billion rubles at the current rate).
