More than half a million people in Germany have been vaccinated against the coronavirus

German Health Minister Jens Spahn said Saturday that more than 500,000 Germans have already received the coronavirus vaccine.
“It’s working better and better,” Spahn said during the conference, which was broadcast on the German government website.

The vaccination campaign started in Germany on December 27. According to a national plan adopted earlier by the German Ministry of Health, the first priority will be to vaccinate people over the age of 80, nursing home staff and personnel, as well as intensive care and emergency room medical personnel who are in “risk zone” for infection.
