Head of Ferrari: we have reached the bottom

The head of the “Formula 1” Ferrari team Mattia Binotto believes that the crisis in which the Italian “stable” is located has reached its lowest point.
In the season 2020 “Ferrari” with 61 points is on the 6th place in the Cup of designers. The “Krasnye” could not score a single point on three of the eight stages of the championship. In two Grand Prix, including the home race in Monza last week, “Ferrari” lost both cars. In the coming weekend in Italy, the Tuscan Grand Prix will be held at the Mugello circuit, which will be a thousandth for the Ferrari in the “Royal Racing”.

“In Monza (the pilot of the team Sebastian) Vettel said that it could not be worse? Sebastian is right. We are working on improvement. We’ve reached the bottom, and from here we can only get better,” said Binotto, quoted by the Corriere Dello Sport on Rai 3.
The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has analyzed the 2019 Ferrari engine for legitimacy. An agreement between the Federation and the team was concluded, the details of which are known only to the two parties involved.

“Last year we had an advantage in the engine, which does not exist today. We designed the car with the advantage in mind, which then disappeared,” added Binotto. – As a team leader, if I had to call myself guilty of something, I would say I didn’t understand the problems of this machine quickly enough.
