The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said that Russia remains the last of the Normandy quartet countries that do not support the country’s position in the negotiations on Donbas.
On the air of the TV channel “Ukraine 24,” he said that Germany and France fully support the Ukrainian side in the issues of Donbas, unlike Russia.
“Today no one in the world, except the Russian Federation, has no objections to Ukraine’s position,” Yermak complained.
He noted that the “Normandy format” negotiations are currently taking place at the level of advisors to the heads of state. According to him, the parties are talking about the possibility of drawing up a road map for the cessation of hostilities, as well as resolving the issue of the return of control over the self-proclaimed DNR and LNR.
Earlier, deputy head of the presidential administration Dmitry Kozak, commenting on the results of the negotiations of the advisors of the Normandy quartet leaders on the settlement of the situation in Donbas, noted that there was nothing to boast about. He stressed that no final decisions had been worked out.
The talks between the representatives of the Normandy quartet leaders were held in Berlin on Tuesday, January 12.
