In China, a math teacher beat a student to death for wrong answer.

A mathematics teacher from Sichuan Province, China, beat an elementary school student to death for two wrong answers to his questions, Oriental Daily writes with reference to the girl’s family.
It is reported that on that day, September 10, China celebrated Teacher’s Day, and a ten-year-old girl came to school with flowers to congratulate her teachers, including mathematics teachers.
At around 9 a.m. in his class, she was unable to answer two questions. As punishment for wrong answers, the teacher knelt the girl and started pulling the schoolgirl by the ears and hitting her on the head. According to her twin sister studying in the same class, the student could not get up during the punishment. The schoolgirl could only return to her place with the help of her classmates.
Almost three hours later the teacher called the girl’s grandmother and asked her to be picked up from the school because of her unhealthy appearance. Upon arriving at the school an elderly woman saw that her granddaughter could not speak and opened her eyes. She was taken to the hospital, but the help was unsuccessful – the girl died.
According to her grandmother, the girl was very afraid to attend that teacher’s classes because he often resorted to corporal punishment.
