Relatives of the victims of COVID accuse the authorities of a late response to the outbreak of infection and cutting the budget for medicine.

In Italy, the prosecutor’s office of the city most affected by the coronavirus of Bergamo received fifty complaints against the state from relatives of the victims of COVID-19. It is reported by AFP.

Relatives of the coronavirus victims accuse the authorities of insufficient actions in the fight against a pandemic in the country.

“For the first time in Italy, fifty relatives of coronavirus victims on Wednesday filed complaints because of a pandemic in a country where more than 34,000 people died,” the report said.

It is noted that local prosecutors are now conducting a wide investigation into the health crisis in the country. Relatives of the victims accuse the authorities of a late response to the outbreak of coronavirus and cutting the budget for medicine in the northern region of Lombardy.

A total of 235 561 cases of COVID-19 were reported in Italy. Of these, 168,646 people were cured, and 34,043 died.

Recall that in Italy on June 1 recorded the minimum number of coronavirus infected since February.
