About 100 thousand people took part in the protest action against Alexander Lukashenko’s regime in Minsk on Sunday, September 27, and dozens of people were detained, reports the Belarusian service of Radio Liberty and portal TUT.BY.
According to the Human Rights Center in Spring, on Sunday at least 78 people were detained in different cities of Belarus. Belarusian Interior Ministry spokesman Olga Chemodanova said that more than a hundred people were detained on Sunday during unauthorized mass events in the country.
