The social network explained that Robert Kennedy Jr. had been spreading false claims about the coronavirus and vaccines
Instagram deleted the account of anti-vaccination activist Robert Kennedy Jr.
“We deleted this account for repeatedly spreading debunked statements about the coronavirus and vaccines,” said a spokesperson for Facebook, the company that owns Instagram.
Kennedy, son of the late former attorney general, senator, and U.S. presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, has repeatedly opposed vaccines.
He has lobbied Congress for a provision that would allow parents not to comply with state requirements to vaccinate their children.
