iPhone owners are allowed to pay with bitcoins

iPhone owners have been allowed to pay with bitcoins. Apple Pay has added the ability to add cards to the BitPay service, which allows you to pay with cryptocurrency, without converting it into regular money. This is reported on the service’s official website.

“If you are already a BitPay Prepaid MasterCard user, you can add the card to Apple Pay by opening the Wallet app on your iPhone,” the company said in a statement. Paying for purchases with bitcoin will be the same as with regular cards.

BitPay for Android phones on Google Pay and Samsung Pay is scheduled to launch in March 2021.

Bitcoin set a new record on Feb. 11. Its value reached $48,399 per coin. The rise is due to interest in the cryptocurrency from major companies, including BNY Melloy, Mastercard, and Tesla, CNBC reported. As of now (00:45), the value of the coin is hovering around $47,900
