Iran passed law on countering Israel

Parliament banned the transit of Israeli goods through Iran, and also decided to create a virtual embassy in Jerusalem, which recognizes the capital of Palestine.
In Iran, parliament supported a bill to counter Israel. It is reported by IRNA on Monday, May 18.

Now the Iranian Foreign Ministry must create a virtual embassy in Jerusalem, which is recognized by the Iranian side as the capital of Palestine. This is given six months from the date of the ratification of the law.

The transit of Israeli goods through Iran is also prohibited. At the same time, the Iranian authorities are obliged to provide assistance to other peoples and states for the “liberation” of Jerusalem.

Recall that earlier the EU called on Israel to abandon construction in East Jerusalem. Settlements are illegal under international law, the head of European diplomacy said.

It was also reported that Hamas and Israel exchanged military strikes. One rocket was fired from Gaza into Israeli territory, and Israel attacked three Hamas military posts in Gaza in response.
