Israel will resume isolation due to coronavirus.

The Israeli Cabinet of Ministers approved the resumption of isolation in the country because of the coronavirus. This is reported by the publication The Times of Israel, citing local media.

Restrictions will resume from September 18 at 14:00 local time. They will last three weeks. In particular, the Israelis will have to be within 500 meters from home. Hotels, schools, and shopping centers will also be closed.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the introduction of quarantine measures was necessary. However, he denies that the government has not managed to defeat the coronavirus.

For all the time in Israel, there were 153.7 thousand cases of COVID-19. Of these, more than 114.6 thousand patients recovered, and another 1108 people died.
