JAPANESE SORN THE ALARM: RUSSIAN ROCKET CARRIERS RUN OVER THE PACIFIC OCEAN

Two strategic missile carriers Tu-95MS completed a scheduled flight over the Pacific Ocean, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports. The Japanese raised the alarm by flying F-15 fighters.

Two Russian Tu-95MS missile carriers, accompanied by Su-35S fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces, made a planned flight over the waters of the Sea of ​​Japan and the north-western part of the Pacific Ocean, according to the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The flight lasted more than nine hours and alerted the Japanese – on certain sections of the route, F-15 fighters of the Japanese Air Force were accompanied by Russian missile carriers.

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense emphasized that long-range aviation crews regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black and Baltic Seas, and the Pacific Ocean. All these flights are performed in strict accordance with the International Rules for the Use of Airspace.
