The first Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk spoke about the country’s losses after the signing of the Budapest memorandum. He stated this in the program of the editor-in-chief of the Gordon publication Alesi Batsman.
He noted that Ukraine lost about $ 250 billion in connection with such a decision.
The former head of state noted that nuclear weapons, as well as Backfire carriers, that is, Russian Tu-22M bombers, according to NATO’s classification, “moved to Russia.”
Kravchuk added that the Ukrainian representatives did not initiate negotiations with the American side on the reimbursement of this amount.
