Belarus will close its borders with Poland and Lithuania, as well as strengthen border protection with Ukraine, said President Alexander Lukashenko.

“‘We are forced to withdraw our troops from the streets, put half the army under the rifle and close the state border with Lithuania and Poland from the west. We are forced to strengthen the state border, unfortunately, with our brotherly Ukraine,” – said Lukashenko, whose words are transmitted by portal Tut.by.

In addition, the head of the Belarusian state appealed to the peoples of Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine with a request to stop “their crazy politicians” in order to prevent “war”.

“It is impossible to bring to a hot war. There are not many tricks left in their arsenal, and we are on the verge of a terrible disaster,” Lukashenko said.
