MADURO FIRST MEETS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONTACT GROUP

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro published a video of his first-ever meeting with representatives of the International Contact Group, during which the impact of US sanctions on the Latin American country was discussed. Venezuela will consider the issue of sending a political mission to Caracas.

“A meeting with the International Contact Group to inform them about the implications of the blockade and sanctions by the American empire against Venezuela,” reads the caption to Maduro’s Twitter video. Recall that this was the first time the meeting took place and representatives from Germany France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and the Netherlands.
